We are third-generation Amish Timber Framers. We build using traditional handcrafted methods and mortise and tenon joinery (wooden pegs).

Traditionally, timber framing has been used in the construction of agricultural buildings. In recent years, there has been a tremendous resurgence in timber frame construction, which results in aesthetically pleasing and durable commercial, residential and outdoor structures, such as the timber frame pictured to the right. This versatile timber frame is one of our basic designs and can be seen at Slate Run Metro Park in Columbus, Ohio where it is being used as an educational pavilion.

We are one of the few groups with the history and experience of building large timber frame structures. The largest project we worked on is the Liberty Presbyterian Church in Delaware, Ohio. Some say it is the largest timber frame structure built in the last 100 years in America. Check out the article on this project from "Traditional Building Magazine," March/April 1996, Volume 9/Number2.

We are located in Holmes/Wayne County, Ohio, which is home to the largest Amish community in the world.
